The 11th World Chinese Neurosurgery Academic Conference was grandly held at the Beichen International Conference Center in Changsha, Hunan Province from September 12th to 14th, 2025.. This conference brought together top scholars and medical workers in the field of neurosurgery from home and abroad, with approximately 1,000 participants. The conference focused on the cutting-edge technologies and achievements, clinical experiences and the latest diagnostic and therapeutic methods in neurosurgery, covering multiple fields such as neuro-oncology, cerebrovascular diseases, spinal cord and spinal cord lesions, neurointervention, neuroendoscopy, and medical-engineering integration.
Sysine Group’s Subordinate company Success Bio-Tech Co., Ltd., has jointly launched the “Saixing Cup” Medical-Engineering Integration Innovation Project Competition with the conference. It aims to discover the "New stars" in the fields of neurosurgery and biomedical materials, awaken the "dormant patents", promote the integration of medicine and engineering, and drive the development of the neurosurgery discipline.
This competition was hosted by Professor Li Chuzhong from Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University. The contestants took the stage one by one and comprehensively expounded on the innovation of the medical-engineering integration project, the demand for clinical application, and the forward-looking nature of industry development through the presentation and introduction of their projects. Starting from the national strategy and addressing clinical pain points, a profound and detailed report was made on the overall project's early-stage thinking, mid-stage improvement, and late-stage achievement transformation.
Professor Zhang Yazhuo, the president of the World Chinese Neurosurgery Association and the honorary president of the Beijing Institute of Neurosurgery；Professor Xin Tao, the vice president of Shandong First Medical University;Director Feng Xiaoming of the Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Department of the National Institutes for Food and Drug Control;and Director Xia Yiran of the Technology Center of Success Bio-Tech Co., LTD., among many other renowned experts in the industry, served as judges for the competition.
After a tense and fierce competition, the expert judges conducted a strict review from multiple dimensions such as innovation, academic value and application prospects. They highly recognized the theoretical depth and practical value of the entries and selected the top three. The awards were presented to the winners respectively by the awarding guests, Professor Zhang Yazhuo, Professor Liu Zhixiong and Professor Li Chuzhong.
